Job description
- Collect and analyze traffic data to identify patterns, congestion points, and improvement areas.
- Use simulation tools to forecast future traffic conditions and evaluate proposed changes.
- Develop transportation plans addressing short-term and long-term traffic management needs.
- Design and recommend improvements to road networks, intersections, and public transit systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee the implementation of traffic control measures, including signal adjustments and signage.
- Engage with the community and stakeholders to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on traffic analysis and project progress.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and agencies to design and implement projects.
- Conduct safety assessments and recommend measures to reduce accidents and enhance road safety.
Adaptive Traffic Management System (ATMS) Expert - 15 years
( Min. 10 years of experience in implemen ng traffic management system comprising of traffic controllers, traffic sensors, TCCC. )
Technical Skills: Minimum experience of 4 projects implementing ATMS controllers, traffic sensors, and software for 25 junctions with a traffic command control center.
